Criston Cole had stepped into the role of a father where he could. Seeing another with her son, pleasing and entertaining him was not unique, but it was still nice to see. She had always assumed that Daemon preferred Rhaenyra, that her children would only be viewed as a threat to her title as heir or his place in further inheritance.
